Fun Week-Day 4

Day 4 of Fun Week was spent in Keatchie! We LOVE to spend the day there...swimming, eating, relaxing. The boys love to play with their toys inside and out and Caroline is obsessed with the dogs and Nan's bird collection. She has become a "burr" fanatic herself! We know who's going to inherit the bluebird dishes. :)

The boys LOVE to sleep in the toy room or their room on the floor and especially in a tent! This is them the night of the 4th in their sleeping bags watching a movie in the toy room.

Fun Week-Day 2

Day 2 of Fun Week was...more fun! The day started at Kid City with the cousins...8 of them! Kid City was followed by the McDonald's on Pines Road for lunch and ice cream~Mimi's treat! Then everybody went to Mimi's to change into swimsuits. Our last stop was the North Shreveport Swim Club. The kids all had a blast, but they were very tired when it was all said and done...as evidenced in the last picture.

Morgan and Caden...born three weeks apart!

Snaggle-toothed Avery and Anderson at Kid City...Avery had lost her first tooth the night before and was so proud!

No nap! Ready to go home but still smiling!

They were all pretty much done at this point. :)

The next day was Mrs. Gayle's 59th birthday, and the kids kept asking what we were going to do that day. Mimi politely said, "We've been together for the past 2 days. Don't call Mimi tomorrow. I'll see you tomorrow night!" Mimi needed a break! We celebrated her birthday at Tom and Stacy's the next night.

Fun Week-Day 1

Well, this week has been dubbed "Fun Week" at the Wibben house. School will be starting up again soon, and we still had some things we wanted to do. This was Day 1. We started with a trip to our favorite pediatrician, Dr. Rao. Turns out John Collier has a sinus infection and an ear infection. Antibiotics are on  board, and since he never really felt bad, he hasn't slowed down much. Our appointment was followed by Sci-Port with Mimi, Morgan, Nicholas, and Anne Michele. Sci-Port was followed by Chuck E. Cheese where Aunt Stacy, Gigi, Avery, and Anderson joined us. Good times were had by all...and I'd bet they were ALL fast asleep long before now!

Hanging out in the waiting room

Caden was a bg help with Caroline! She loved him pushing her stroller around and around and around...

Mrs. Tara tickling his throat...he did SO GOOD!

Caroline discovered a new hiding place

Mo and JC chillin' over some pizza and Sprite

On our way to dinner at the Grand Luxe Cafe' at the Galleria and to see "Dream Girls" at Fair Park

Christy Nicole turned 36 on July 7th! We celebrated with a quick stop to see Chase and his broken arm at Camp Bethany then dinner at Superior. Here she is with Marcy and Edy. Love these ladies!

Caroline playing in the "house" her brothers set up for her in the living room. It had a kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom, and a garage. :)

These boys love to cook! They helped me make a double recipe of chocolate chip cookies the day before our visit with the Myers family in Keatchie on Saturday, July 10th.

Blake, John Collier, Caden, and Kate in Nan and Grandad's pool...too cute!

Horsing around with big cousins Patrick and Donnie from Houston on July 10th

Well, we tried to get a group pic! Caroline got to get out of bed to visit with her Aunt Jill and big boy cousins. :)

"No children in Mimi's dining room!" Well, we thought that was the rule til the Sunday after the Erwin's got back from Disney (July 11th)...we all ate lunch at Mimi and Papa's, and the children got to not only BE in the dining room...they got to EAT in there! They did sit on dish towels, though. I love these kiddos! :)

Eric and Papa practicing one of the TWO songs they know

How sweet is this?! Papa played and the cousins sang..."Jesus Loves Me," "This Little Light of Mine," and more. They are available for hire...contact Crystal Wibben, Manager to the Stars.

John Collier and Caden on Monday, July 12th, heading to their first day of camp at Rock Solid. They came home tired every day but LOVED it!

Sweet Caroline decided to do some rearranging in her room just minutes before her playdate guests arrived on Wednesday, July 27th...and the air went out, too! Good times!

Brandi with Sara Beth, Caroline and me, and Emma Grace and Kim showing off our crafts...hand/foot print works of art by the little girls! We have been trying to get together all summer, and time was running out. We finally all committed to yesterday, and I am so glad we did! I love all of these girls.

EG and Kim had to leave for a lunch date, but Brandi and SB stayed for naptime! SB slept in her carrier on the floor in Caroline's room while C slept in her crib. They both woke up at the "same" time, but I wonder who was first? ;)
