Caden Nicholas is 6!

Our middle child was born at 6:51pm on Thursday, August 12th, 2004. He was a little brother by 18 months. He weighed 9 pounds and 1 ounce, and he was our biggest baby (thank goodness!). Since then, he has grown and changed so much! He is now a big brother, too. Here's a look back at our boy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CADEN NICHOLAS WIBBEN! I thank God for allowing me the opportunity to be your Mama. I will always love you and can't wait to see what the future has in store for you. You are remarkably and wonderfully made!

Fun Week-Day 5

Well, the last day of Fun Week was partially spent at school moving some of my things into my new classroom in a T-building. John Collier got to make another visit to our favorite pediatrician for a shot to help dry him up, since he wasn't much better after 4 days on his antibiotic. The shot led to a stop at Sonic for ice cream for the boys and a big fat Route 44 Diet Coke for me! We did have Mickey Mouse pancakes to celebrate the end of Fun Week though!

Fun Week-Day 4

Day 4 of Fun Week was spent in Keatchie! We LOVE to spend the day there...swimming, eating, relaxing. The boys love to play with their toys inside and out and Caroline is obsessed with the dogs and Nan's bird collection. She has become a "burr" fanatic herself! We know who's going to inherit the bluebird dishes. :)

The boys LOVE to sleep in the toy room or their room on the floor and especially in a tent! This is them the night of the 4th in their sleeping bags watching a movie in the toy room.

Fun Week-Day 2

Day 2 of Fun Week was...more fun! The day started at Kid City with the cousins...8 of them! Kid City was followed by the McDonald's on Pines Road for lunch and ice cream~Mimi's treat! Then everybody went to Mimi's to change into swimsuits. Our last stop was the North Shreveport Swim Club. The kids all had a blast, but they were very tired when it was all said and done...as evidenced in the last picture.

No nap! Ready to go home but still smiling!

They were all pretty much done at this point. :)

The next day was Mrs. Gayle's 59th birthday, and the kids kept asking what we were going to do that day. Mimi politely said, "We've been together for the past 2 days. Don't call Mimi tomorrow. I'll see you tomorrow night!" Mimi needed a break! We celebrated her birthday at Tom and Stacy's the next night.

Fun Week-Day 1

Well, this week has been dubbed "Fun Week" at the Wibben house. School will be starting up again soon, and we still had some things we wanted to do. This was Day 1. We started with a trip to our favorite pediatrician, Dr. Rao. Turns out John Collier has a sinus infection and an ear infection. Antibiotics are on  board, and since he never really felt bad, he hasn't slowed down much. Our appointment was followed by Sci-Port with Mimi, Morgan, Nicholas, and Anne Michele. Sci-Port was followed by Chuck E. Cheese where Aunt Stacy, Gigi, Avery, and Anderson joined us. Good times were had by all...and I'd bet they were ALL fast asleep long before now!

Caden was a bg help with Caroline! She loved him pushing her stroller around and around and around...
