Saturday night our cousins, the McCulloughs, and friends, the Edmondses, hosted the 1st Annual McCedmonds Fest in their joint backyard. It was the best Halloween party I've ever been to! There was something for everyone and no detail went unnoticed. It was great for our whole family...the boys are already talking about "next year's" party! There was musical chairs for kids and "adults," marshmallow guns, a game with balloons and pantyhose, one random karaoke song, jumpies, tons of food, a candy bar (thanks, Beth!), an outdoor heater (handy for drying clothes after bobbing for apples...see pics below), pumpkin carving, cup decorating, a candy-filled cauldron, trophies, lights and tons of great decor, and so much more. Thanks again, guys!
Sweet Caroline had a whole jumpy to herself...just her size, too!
Cute Cowboy, George
Some of the night's trophies
The Civil War guerilla and the LSU cheerleader
He braided my hair for me! :)
John Collier, aka "SWAT"
Cousin Jennifer and hubs, Matt...yes, they did go there!
Cousin Clint (Kenny) and wife, Kristen (Dolly)...two of our hosts for the night
Me, Eric ( he was well-armed...three guns and two knives), Laura, Waldo Marcus
Eric and his favorite sister-in-law...yes, she came dressed as him---down to her pants stuffed in her boots and holding a spit bottle!!! It was hilarious, and no one outside the fam got it, but we didn't care!
What can I say here? Pretty self-explanantory...
Waldo and "Eric"
Me and Laura...and sneaky Waldo
(behind us are the couple dressed as the Publisher's Clearing House guy with a huge check and the "winner" in curlers, a facial mask, and even partially painted toenails!)
Caden beginning his pumpkin carving
Wow...bobbing for apples turned into a swimming/full contact sport...and the kids LOVED it!
Um, again, what can I say? Love this boy!
